As a Trust we are continuing to work with Liverpool Council and the Department for Education to ensure we can open in September 2025. We have already had good news in terms of planning permissions being granted and purchases of neighbouring sites being exchanged. King’s Wavertree is now accepting applications for Year 7 pupils for the 2025/26 academic year. As a new secondary free school that is awaiting signing of our funding agreement, we have the unique opportunity to manage our own admissions process during our first year of operation. The information below will help guide you through this process.
In the new academic year we will be hosting a series of Information Events at Wavertree Town Hall. These will be held between 1830 - 1930 on the following dates;

We are managing our own admissions for this year only. If you would like to apply for a school place for next academic year (25/26), you can complete our application form online by clicking this link. Alternatively you can download/print and complete a copy of the form below and return it to us by email at info@kingswavertree.com.
Parents who apply to us should also submit a common application form to their home local authority to apply for other schools. This can be done through this link for Liverpool City Council. Any offers of pupil places for Kings Leadership Academy Wavertree will be conditional and dependent on a funding agreement being entered into with the Secretary of State.
